Our team is led by Johan Potgieter, who brings over 26 years of experience in the security industry to the table. Johan Potgiter is not only responsible for overseeing our team of installers but is also an integral part of the workgroup at the South African Bureau of Standards responsible for Electric Fencing and CCTV.
To ensure our team is always up-to-date with the latest industry standards and trends, we provide regular training directly from our manufacturers on the products we install. We have extensive experience in commercial CCTV, electric fencing, and Access Control System installations, and our camera systems use advanced analytics, such as artificial intelligence for human detection.
At Lynguni Tradomg, we are proud to be a member of the South African Electric Fence Installers Association and are accredited to issue certificates that ensure electric fences comply with the SANS 10222-3 standard. Our electric fences have multiple zoning, enabling instant alarms if any part of the fence has been tampered with.
When it comes to gate motors, garage door motors, and booms, we work with manufacturers who have provided us with reliable products for over 26 years. Our partnerships with these manufacturers allow us to resolve any issues quickly, and our team has been trained to ensure the warranty is maintained when installing their products.

Johan Potgieter
Founder of Lynguni Trading and a distinguished member of the South African Bureau of Standards committee responsible for Electric Fencing and CCTV since 2013. With years of experience in the industry, Johan is committed to ensuring that our team receives regular training from our suppliers to stay up-to-date with the latest products and techniques.
In addition to his professional achievements, Johan is also registered to issue a Certificate of Compliance on Electric Fences in his personal capacity. As an executive Board Member of the South African Electric Fence Association, Johan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. We are proud to have him on board as a valuable member of our organization.
Donovan
An experienced millwright with almost 15 years of industry expertise. At Tandem Security Systems, Donovan’s problem-solving skills and innovative approach have been instrumental in helping us identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Livingston
A specialist welder and Electric Fence installer who joined the Tandem Security Systems team in 2022. With his exceptional skills and work ethic, Livingstone quickly expanded his expertise and is now capable of installing CCTV cameras and Access Control systems as well.
